Question 26
What do these look like? Will buyers object to the ceiling? Aren’t they ugly?
Residential sprinklers are small, and most are available in concealed or recessed versions that sit flush behind a cover plate matched to the color or wood pattern in the ceiling or wall. A buyer who is not looking for them does not see them. In the permit records, installations using exclusively concealed or recessed heads ran roughly $250 to $750 higher than those with standard heads.
